Welcome to the David Crockett Steam Fire Company Number 1 website.  The mission of our department shall be the preservation and protection of life and property from and during such fires as may occur in the City of Gretna, to assist our neighboring fire companies when requested to do so, to extend a fraternal feeling among its membership, and to assist our community in case of any natural and man-made disasters.  Our motto is: “Be Sure You’re Right, Then Go Ahead”.
